Day 3, Flag Day

+ Mayor Elizabeth Salcedo delivering her welcome speech
Every year Singapore Polytechnic’s community service expedition team will be invited to the Municipality’s Flag Day. Hence, the first Monday that we reached, we went to the Municipal Hall to attend this event whereby the officers from various departments of the local government unit carry out had a meeting to discuss about what they had done during the previous week. As opening, the newly elected Mayor of the Municipality of Concepcion, Hon. Mayor Elizabeth T. Salcedo delivered her welcome speech to the SP expedition team.
+ Municipal Court Session
One of the activities after the flag day was to witness the Municipal Court Session. One of the matters discussed was the affairs of the adoption of us, Singapore Polytechnic students, officially as the Sons and Daughters of Concepcion.
+ Local Children!!
The playground next to our living quarters built by SP students 5 years ago, has been the favourite spot for the local children in Barangay Lo-ong.
