Day 2, Welcome to Concepcion!!

The team reached Iloilo City after a 35-minute domestic flight. Upon arrival, we were invited to lunch and dessert session with the former Mayor of Concepcion, Dr. Banias. The friendship and bond fostered between us is so strong, that even after his term as a Mayor at the Municipality, we remained as close companions.
Finally after taking a ride on a van that is close to three hours, we arrived at our living quarter at Lo-ong. Barangay Lo-ong’s Kapitan gave our team a warm welcome and treated us to a sumptuous dinner. We set up our living quarters, and placed our team banner ceremoniously.
By the way, we are using a 20 kbps internet connection to update our blog over here and so, please be patient as we try to update our activities once every 2 days! =)
